Are you one of those people that uses a Yahoo, Bigpond, Hotmail or Gmail account for business?

When you can have your own email account that is your personal domain email that looks professional, offers flexibility and promotional value to you.

Why advertise and promote your ISP Internet Service Provider (like Bigpond) or Hotmail or the like when you can be promoting your name, your business name or the products or services you offer.

Why am I saying it is better to use your domain email?

• I see it so often, people change their ISP and loose their email address.
  Case Study – Rosie of Rosie’s Bouquet is relocating from The Broadwater Plaza just west a little along Hope Island Road to Marina Quays Village Markets at Hope Island and Bigpond won’t let her transfer her Business Bigpond Email address or emails to her Home or another Bigpond Account…. would that be a headache in business?
• How professional does it look to have an email address gr8discounts@gmail.com when for no cost you can have mattresses@gr8discounts.com.au . Now is that more descriptive? It describes what you do and who you are.  And it also makes it easy for them to work out your website address.

So my tip for you is:

Use your own domain email address so you have more control and you are promoting you and not promoting Gmail or your ISP. You and your business will look more professional and project the image that customers want to see.
